WEISS IT subsidiary now also based in Germany

The IT service provider Ecotech IT Solutions, a company of WEISS GmbH, now also has a permanent location in Germany, in addition to its current locations in India and the USA. As Ecotech IT Solutions GmbH, the company will now be able to offer its customers services from Germany.

Entry into the commercial register took place in early October. Since then, Ecotech IT Solutions GmbH, based in Buchen (Odenwald), has been part of the WEISS World. WEISS, a manufacturer of automation solutions, such as linear transfer systems and rotary indexing tables, took over the company with its head office in Pune in 2022. WEISS justified the decision with the advancing digitization of the product portfolio and its plans for the future to become a software-driven company. Ecotech complements the expertise of WEISS in the fields of application IT, IoT and others in the digitization of company and product IT. By stepping into the German market, the group of companies is now better positioned in relation to its customers and has created a competitive advantage. „With a German company, we make it easier for prospective and current customers to access Ecotech‘s extensive services. We are tapping into potential both for ourselves as well as for our customers. At the same time, we can work more strongly on synergies in terms of digitization,” says Ingo Nenninger, CFO/COO of WEISS and managing director of Ecotech IT Solutions GmbH.

Ecotech was founded in 2000 and specializes in the design, development and support of various IT solutions for different industries and company sizes. European customers have been part of its customer base since 2001. Ecotech has also been taking care of customers from the USA since 2004. Today, Ecotech not only develops tailor-made web and mobility applications but also supports its customers globally in developing tailor-made SAP ERP, RPA, AI and IoT-based software systems.
